September Campout

Rocky Mountain National Park

  Dates:September 26-28
  Location: Moraine Park Campground at Rocky Mountain National Park
  Cost: $40.00 each
  Activities: 4 hour service project by all scouts/scouters on Saturday, September 27. More details to follow.
   Hiking to nearby visitor centers or lakes
   Wildlife viewing opportunities (particularly the elk)

Optional:
One night backpacking opportunity on Saturday night (pending adequate interest) for scouts with rank of First Class or above AND Campmaster/Scoutmaster approval. Additional scouters also needed in order to meet YPT and Health & Safety criteria. Backcountry permits are required so we need those who are seriously interested to be confident and prepared to participate in order to determine an accurate number of campsites required. .
